I can't get XP points from the furnace.

Normally, you can get XP points by clicking on the smelted product when there is something smelted in the furnace, but when there is something smelted in the furnace, please try click on the recipe from the "recipe book". Then, you will not be able to gain experience points, and the smelted item is in your inventory.
