Can't break blocks in a superflat work with Any type of sword (Creative)

What I expected to happen was...:
For the block to break when I was hitting an block with a Sword

What actually happened was...:
Block did not break, Showed the particles of it trying to break but did not break like bedrock

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have Creative
2. Hit a block in Creative
3. N/A
