Minecraft Keeps Crashing Immediately After Launch!

Whenever I click "PLAY" on the screen, it loads for about 10 seconds or more and then a new window pops up, with a blank icon on the taskbar, for about 1 or 2 seconds. Then it disappears and the launcher window opens again, saying that an unexpected error occurred and the game crashed. There is no crash report or anything, just a "CLOSE" button. Please note, this only happens for the 1.16.2 version, all of the earlier versions work just fine.
