Constant high ping on realms

When playing on 1.16.2 i am unable to play on any realm as my ping shoots to over 5000. I've tested this version on different servers and it is completely fine on there. I have also tried other versions, the problem only seems to occur on realms. I cant seems to find the problem in order to fix it.
