Respawning in the nether and end

This is happening in 1.16.1 but that isn't a valid version. A few days ago when i died on my friends server in the nether i would respawn there too at about  x0 z0, something simallar is happening now in the end when i want to exit the end i just spawn on top of the portal. He is using spigot 1.16.1 but it could be that something like this could exists in Vanilla.
