Comparator clock on Dropper

The comparator clock with only one comparator on subtract does not work on a dropper, it works on other thing and when I used a reapeter clock that also only ha one of tick one on tick it works so itr's not the speed. The clock works one time but only the first on tick then you need to manualy flip the lever of and on again
