I cannot mine

In the latest Combat Snapshot (at the time I am writing this it is V7c) I have encountered a bad bug that will now allow me to mine any blocks will anything. I tried mining blocks with everything and I even tried clearing my inventory but it will not work. I don't really know how to explain it but I try to mine and the tool/hand/item won't even interact with the block and if I hold down LMB, my hand is just stuck in the bottom of the screen. It was weird to explain but if there is a fix, please fix. Thank you.
