My friend cant do anything and play mc because of this bug

So my friend wants to kidnap villagers but this happened... The Boat Bug. He cant interact, mobs don't target him, and "Y Coord" Bug... Take a look at these attachments. (This only affects 1.16.1 or 1.16.2) But I don't know what causes the bug chunk not loading, lag, or other. In order to destroy the bug: Destroy the boat that you used.
