lan server dosent work

Every time my friend tries to join my lan server it says "failed to connect to the server" and the message ( io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConectException: Connection timed out: no further information: ) comes up. And also when my friend opens a LAN game it dosent show on my computer.
