Glitch "Sel Unsel" Rain

I've not had trouble with the newest update until today when there was a thunderstorm. For some reason, the rain graphic is replaced with a gray key looking graphic that has 'sel' in blue and 'unsel' in red. I'm not sure what's triggering this to happen.
