suddenly stopping sprinting

i have not noticed it in single player because there i am in creative and wouldnt bother me and i also played minecraft on other computers but i can not remember if i had that problem there as well the thing is when i double click the up arrow button to sprint it does but i suddenly stop running if there was a block in my way and if i dont let go the up arrow button and press it again to continue sprinting but rather hold it down still my player starts sprinting for about 2 blocks and stops again and again and again

if i click the control button instead if the up arrow button it happens less often

i noticed this on my laptop first on 1.14 because that was the 1st version i played on this laptop

i play mostly on hypixel if multiplayer
