Flowing lava netherite

Fell into a single pool of lava in the Nether and died with netherite gear on. When I returned I had to mine down to my gear and another pool of lava opened, flowing down onto my gear and destroyed what I had returned to get. Lost 2 netherite pickaxes, shovel, axe, boots, leggings, and helmet. The items were floating on top of the single pool of lava until the flowing lava hit them. I dug around the area after stopping the lava to see if theyd been pushed into the surrounding netherrack and didnt find anything. On xbox1 bedrock realms.
