Bartering with piglins

Barter with piglins has become strikingly worse than it was before. While previously, you could get 15 + Ender pearls from a single stack of gold, now this number is very much reduced. For 4 stacks of gold, I got only 8 Ender pearls. I think this is a terrible mistake. The screenshots shows the loot for each stack of gold.
