The "direct_entity" is useless in predicate and advancement

It's not work in predicate in 1.png and 2.png
I think my format is correct
 
I can't use this command to make it work

execute if entity @a[predicate=test:hurt] run say 1

Not only these entities, but other entities as well.
 
 
Then I try to use advancement. The "source_entity" is normal. But the "direct_entity" is useless
