Trident riptide attack & animation continues when the player is on the ground

The riptide attack animation continues to play even if you are stationary on the ground, despite the animation implying movement.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Get a riptide trident

   /give @p trident{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:riptide",lvl:3s}]} 1
   

2. Look directly down
3. Use the trident
4. Look forward and/or upward
