[MC-197388] Opening Pause menu causes fps drop/lag

Steps to reproduce

Launch Minecraft from Launcher
Create new world
Join new world and wait for fps to stabilize (60fps - vsync)
Press esc to open pause menu
Notice fps drop to 1-2 fps with great lag and a few seconds before the menu opens
This also reproduces on all UI menu elements like chest, trading, and utility blocks eg. crafting table, stone cutter, etc.
