Horse Spawning with diamond armor

Some horses (mostly the black ones) spawn in the world with diamond armor texter (like a skin) but when i tamed it it had no armor on (like it is part of the horses skin) and I could place armor over it and when I take it off the diamond texter is still there. I don't know if these is normal but it seems like a bug/glitch.
