Destroying a bee nest or a beehive that has a bee inside it and the honey level is not 0 in creative mode causes it to drop as an item and if you type /kill @e[type=bee] and a bee its in the bee nest or in the beehive the bee will not die.

If you destroy a bee nest or a beehive, if the honey level is NOT 0, it will cause to give you the bee nest or the bee hive if you are in creative mode. Even if the bee is inside it.

Also, it happens even if you (+NBT) the bee nest or bee hive and place the bee hive or bee nest to destroy them. Also, the various bee nests and beehives in the inventory will not be stackable, like if they are different blocks, even knowing that more than one bee nests are the same blocks, or the bee hives.

Last, if you type /kill @e[type=bee] and a bee is inside the bee nest or the bee hive, the bee inside the bee hive or bee nest will not die.
