My minecraft is offline but I'm connected to the internet.

When I try to log on minecraft it won't budge. It just stays on the "Mojang" Screen. The internet is always connected. But it won't let me. It stays on the "Mojang" Screen For more than about 20 minutes. By the way, The "Paper cut-out" is just a texture pack. I was also using some mods.
