Im in creative and I can't break blocks with a sword

Im in creative and I can't break blocks with a sword

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought it would break instantly (I mean the block)

What actually happened was...:
The block never broke

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go into creative
2. Get a sword
3. Hit a block
