Placement stutter upon placing a lily pad on ice

The Bug
When placing a Lily Pad on ice it seems to disappear before re-appearing back on the ice in a split second.

Reproduce

• Place down some ice and obtain some lily pads.
• Place down some lily pads on top of the ice you just placed, and as you do this, watch the lily pads closely as they are placed down.
• Take note as to whether or not lily pads sometimes disappear momentarily when placing them on top of ice.

Observed Result

Lily pads sometimes disappear momentarily when placing them on top of ice.

Expected Result

Lily pads would not sometimes disappear momentarily when placing them on top of ice.
