Dropping items by closing UIs doesn't play the hand animation

The Bug:

Dropping items by closing UIs doesn't play the hand animation.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place down a crafting table, obtain a stack of emeralds, and a singular diamond.
2. Switch into survival mode and open the crafting table.
3. Place the diamond within the crafting grid and make your inventory completely full by using the emeralds. See MC-194699 - Crafting Layout.png
4. Close the UI and as you do this, watch your hand closely.
5. Take note as to whether or not dropping items by closing UIs plays the hand animation.

Observed Behavior:

Dropping items by closing UIs doesn't play the hand animation.

Expected Behavior:

Dropping items by closing UIs would play the hand animation.
