Firework rocket isn't usable after using elytra to glide for a certain long distance

I teleported to about 1030 blocks high and started to use elytra to glide. At the same time, I was holding some firework rockets but didn't use it. I glided for 8900 blocks and the bug happened.

After passing 8900 blocks, i tried to ascend by right click the firework rockets, however it didn't work, nothing happened. And then I landed somewhere and right clicked it on a block, there wasn't any fireworks going up, basically nothing happens.

It happens in my singleplayer world, a server and I tried to rejoin the world and server, nothing changes.
