/spawnpoint can't be used to set a player's spawnpoint onto a bed in another dimension, despite the /spawnpoint command not depending on the bed to be there to respawn the player

The /spawnpoint command cannot be used to set a player's spawnpoint where a bed is in another dimension.

Using this command on a bed in the overworld spawns the player next to it, and keeps the spawnpoint even after the bed is destroyed.

Since the bed is not a full block, and spawnpoints can be validly set onto non-full blocks in all dimensions, using the /spawnpoint command should be able set a player's spawnpoint to the location of a bed in other dimensions.
