Sprinting Bug in 1.6 Prerelease

In the Minecraft 1.6 Pre-Release, there is a bug with sprinting where when I initiate sprinting with a double tap on "W", the actual sprinting speed boost doesn't start until about 1 second later. Please fix this before the final 1.6 release.
