i cant see my hand or hotbar

so when i came back after an afk session on a server my monitor went into sleep mode which is normal but when i woke it back up i couldn't see my hand or my hot-bar its in 1.15.2 but i cant put it to the released or unreleased because it only says 1.16 or the snapshot for it
