when i play any version of minecraft, the game freezes

when I open Minecraft launcher and press play, the game freezes and never responds, and I play on a laptop, and I restart my laptop 5 times, it still doesn't respond when I press play. when the game loads it freezes before it does the Mojang studios loading screen. will you PLEASE fix this loading bug.
