my world got filled with betaholes

After i downloaded the new 1.0 launcher I openened my world only to find that it got filled with betaholes and not only that but it doesnt matter if I restart the world or revert to 1.5.2 the holes are still there. And to worsen one holes got my house and erased a chunk of it, luckly it desapeared.
