Burning objects with lava

For some reason, lava CANNOT set fire to a block of straw, in general, nothing. I lost a lot of time checking this out. As a result, I found out that the block of straw is not ignited by lava. In the screenshot, I showed that the block of straw did not set fire, unlike the block of oak boards (using the example of burning a portal to Hell). I ask you to fix this error, as this makes it difficult to minecraft only in the desert.
