Minecraft play screen flashing

When my Minecraft launches, after the Mojang Studios logo finishes loading, the Minecraft play screen flashes uncontrollably. Sometimes, it doesn't happen immediately, but if I leave it alone it always will. If I walk away from my computer and it starts flashing, when I come back the Minecraft logo will be burned into my screen.
