Piglins will not see or pick up dropped gold ingots in multiplayer and realms, but right-clicking still works as intended

In Minecraft Java 1.16.1, piglins will not see, walk towards, or pick up gold ingot items dropped next to them by the player(s) in multiplayer and realms. The piglins act as they would do if no gold ingot was near them, even if the ingot was right on top of them. Right-clicking the ingot onto the piglin works as intended, but they do not see the ingot if you drop it in multiplayer and realms.
