Stack moving in inventory failed after using lectern

Hi.

1. I put a book&quill on the lectern and read it through lectern.
2. I clicked 'Done' to stop reading.
3. Then I shift-clicked my items in the inventory (backpack) to move them to the hotbar, and the game shew that the items are moved to the hotbar.
4. When I tried to use those items, I found that I was not able to do so and the items immediately get back to the inventory (backpack) from hotbar.

 

Here are some extra test results:

1. Even an empty book&quill will cause this.
2. It won't happen in creative mode.
3. Step 2 is essential which means this won't happen if you stop by pressing 'esc'.
4. It also happens while moving from hotbar to inventory (backpack).
5. I think this has been an issue since at least 1.15.2.
