mojang studios texture bug

An error occurred when using game textures

I expected that by replacing the "mojangstuios" texture in my resource pack, that it would change.

However, after the game is launched, the logo remains the same. An error occurred when using game textures.

1. I went to the folder of my resource pack.
2. Opened the folder on the path (textures/gui/title).
3. Replaced the "mojangstudios.png" texture.
4. Launched minecraft.
5. The logo remains the same
