server-icon.png displaying as the sun

The sun's texture was inexplicably replaced by the server-icon.png of the server I was playing on. That icon's file isn't present on my computer.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to see the Minecraft sun.

What actually happened was...:
The sun's texture was replaced by the server-icon texture.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I was just playing Minecraft multiplayer on version 1.16.1

2. Standard play, the only resource pack used was Better Faithful 1.16 32x32 - unloading the resource pack did not affect the bug.

3. Bug was fixed only by restarting minecraft.
