Razer Synapse cant detect modded minecraft

So i bought a new pair of razer headphones, and i wanted to try play modded minecraft. I downloaded some 1.16.1 mods, and started the game. The problem was, i could not hear a single sound from minecraft, but i could hear sounds from my pc. When i checked the synapse app, (an app where you can customize razer components) it didnt detect the modded minecraft AKA Forge 1.16.1
