Raining in Nether and Nether Fog Darker

After the server was updated to 1.16.1 i notice that it is raining in the nether when i go through the portal (overworld is not raining thoug) it flashes for a second, and in the neter i noticed that the fog is darker, it is going on nonstop for a couple of days, server have been already restarted.
