Tall Grass particles are gray when destroyed by placing water through another tall grass

When placing a water source on grass through another grass, breaking animation particles are grey(or gray, if you like).

Note: In first image, water source was placed on second grass behind the first, somehow breaking the third grass, but it also does the same through one grass to one other.
