Crashes/Freezes

No matter what version I'm on whether it be the latest, every time I launch Java Minecraft It always ends up freezing. I have not played Java Minecraft for a long time now and I'm not sure what is the reason being. I deleted all my mods and extra things I added and still wont work right. My computer works perfectly fine with Windows 10 Edition and all of my other games I have.
