Minecraft freezes and crashes on Mojang screen

Every time i try launching minecraft it'll load up go to the mojang screen and get to like 90% freeze and just sit there and not respond. And it will completely crash with mod packs.

Heres what ive tried so far:

• Uninstall/reinstall
• updated all drivers on my pc and windows
• made sure java was up to date
• tried different type of arguments i found online that could help
• removed all mods/resource packs/plugins

Ive been working on this the entire day with no progress. except 1 thing. Using the legacy launcher allows me to launch the game. However, this does not work with mod packs. my game will still crash with mod packs and no i cannot launch mod packs either with the updated launcher.

 

UPDATE: I solved the issue you can close this thanks. it was malware blocking it. Installed malwarebytes and did a scan and it fixed my issue.
