internal exception java.io.ioexception an existing connection was forced to shut down the remote host computer

When i join my friend's realm it kicks me out with the error message "internal exception java.io.ioexception an existing connection was forced to shut down the remote host computer"

I have tried everything to fix this and nothing works.

I have the latest version of Java, flushed dns, reset my pc and router.

What else can i do to try and fix this? or is it a game bug?
