"Resource Reload Failed"

I recently finished working on my own resource pack and it worked during 1.15.2. A day before the 1.16 update, I reset my computer due to high lag and I saved my resource pack on MediaFire. When the 1.16 update came, I redownloaded my resource pack and tried using it. After the resource pack loaded, the game loaded again and reverted to the default Minecraft texture, later displaying a message on the top right corner reading "Resource Reload Failed". I switched Minecraft versions to attempt to use my resource pack on 1.15.2 but the same failure happens. Meanwhile, it appears that other resource packs work.
