zombifyed Piglins destroyed my sword

When I came through the portal i dropped my diamond sword so i killed the piglin and it didn't give it me back. I assume this is a bug or intentional game design

What I expected to happen was...:Id kill the  zombifyed piglin and it would drop my sword

What actually happened was...: I killed it but dropped a gold sword
Describe what happened here

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to a piglin (zombifyed)
2. drop a sword
3.  Kill it

4. see if it drops your sword
