Health Boost Bug

I have health boost, so I logged in as normal. Whenever my health got to full, the extra health went away and I got damaged! My armor was getting damage too! I need my Diamond Helmet with Aqua Affinity I and Respiration III to drain out an ocean in front of my home! (Don't ask me to attach pictures please, it doesn't allow me)
