Screen turns to black/game crashes upon leaving the Minecraft game window.

When opening 1.16 rc-1 for the first time, it works absolutely fine with no issues, but upon leaving the Minecraft window (say, to use Discord), the Minecraft screen turns to complete black and the game crashes sometimes. If you try to launch 1.16 rc-1 a second time, it won't even launch correctly, doing the same black screen thing again.
