Rain will appear brighter on one side when using the Fabulous graphics option

When playing Minecraft 1.16 Release Candidate 1, I noticed that when looking to the north, rain would appear a lot brighter against other raindrops. I later found out that this is to do with the new Fabulous graphics option since when I toggle on Fast or Fancy graphics, nothing seems to be wrong with the rain... but only when toggling Fabulous graphics, problems arise. I've also provided visual evidence of this. I've also tested this with snow but the snow doesn't seem to carry this issue.
