Put blocks on Farmland, Soul sand and Grass path don't work

Being on top of blocks like "Farmland, Soul sand, and Grass Path", you can't put an entire block next to it (Except the same blocks). This happens when you are on "Shift" on top of the blocks already mentioned and when trying to put another one next to it, it does not.
