Using resource pack that changes snow texture while on fabulous setting causes strange effect

The screenshots are in the zip folder, one has no resource pack, the other has the resource pack on. I made the texture 25% opaque and I guess this is the result. When I switched it to fancy settings it works, but fabulous doesn't.
