Horses can occasionally get stuck on ledges

The bug

Horses sometimes get stuck on a ledge when falling down while trying to climb it. Only the player moves up, the horse stays on the lower level until you let go on the W key, at that point the horse moves back to where it should be.

Since this issue is more noticeable with fast horses, you can use the following command to summon one which should make reproducing this much easier.

/summon minecraft:horse ~1 ~ ~1 {Attributes:[{Name:"minecraft:generic.movement_speed",Base:0.7}],Tame:1b,SaddleItem:{id:"minecraft:saddle",Count:1b}}
