Pushed by seeds into water

I have a wheat farm with one block of water and it is surrounded by a 4x4 fertile dirt. I was plating a few wheat seeds in my survival and suddenly started to be pushed by force into the one block of water. I tried to get out, but as soon as I tried, it just kept pushing me inside the water. I figured out that what hept pushing me was the seeds, so I had to break some to get out.
