Villager fails to go through an open door and glitches door

Villager inside a player built home- tried to open door from inside to go through, villager closes door before making it through. Player tried to open door to let villager through only to find that the villager closes the door every time the player tries to open it. Villager seems stuck? Player is able to push the villager out of the glitch. (so far unsuccessful in recreation for video evidence)
